Inept Dems is a feature, not a bug, of the 2 party system. The GOP literally doesn’t have a platform to stand on, because their positions alienate a large percentage of the country. The only way they look even kind of viable is if you compare them to wishy-washy, self-serving mayo boys like Pelosi and co.

Seeing the new members of Congress basically shit all over the time honored institutions these old fuckers have grown accustomed to, it strikes me just how easy it would be to actually have gov’t that enacted change and represented the interests of the consituency, if we could only just remove every single goddamn…

I was thinking about reparations just last night (probably because I had just watched High Flying Bird). How would it work? How would we qualify who does and does not receive compensation? Blood tests? How much blood qualifies?
Is it a sliding scale based on percentages? What about mixed race people with one white…

There is just such a rich irony to a bunch of bootstrap motherfuckers in Alabama and Kentucky sucking up the federal resources that places like New York & California provide.

In theory, this kind of bullshit would be hammered into dust by an opposition party and an unbiased, critical thinking media. Too bad we have neither in this country.
