It’s cute you think journalism has anything to do with Gawker Media.
I’ve played about 20 minutes of Undertale and don’t get the love at all so far. Not sure if that earns me any “anti-hipster” cred or not.
You are playing what should be the game of the century.
On on a tangent, the blind adoration of some people for Force Awakens irks me. I liked the movie, didn’t love it and was let down in some areas, but still enjoyed it. If you admit that much to people or lord forbid, you didn’t like it at all, your in for a tongue lashing. It’s like the movie already has rose-colored…
So.... I’m not really into this. I mean, I can see it as a proof of concept type thing, but really I find it kind of.... I can’t find the right word that won’t start an uproar, but something akin to stupid.
“Judge, I didn’t pay that prostitute for sex, I funded her prostitution so of course she had sex with me.
since its got so much locked down hardware its probably all running in userspace so very limited amount of the processing power is accesable
I really do want to play this because I’ve heard almost universal praise for it, but this is honestly one of the only times I’ve ever encountered a game where the art style itself is actually putting me off from touching it.
Sure, some of the characters look incredibly unique and interesting (that loud skeleton, and…
This is what confuses most about reviews of the game, the complete absence of Bullet Hell discussion. Much more than 50% of my gameplay was playing that torturous combat mini game. Why is it so often ignored? Am I truly the only one who absolutely despised the combat mini game of Undertale? I mean it’s difficult to…
I tried the demo for this game and didn’t get it. I mean, the combat system was novel — a sort of bullet hell stuck in a turn-based RPG — but it was also everything I dislike in a turn-based RPG: the slow pace, the popup battles, etc. I didn’t give it enough of a chance for the possible story to grab me.
So did you come here just to fire off moral oneupmanship like some kind of TekMissile salvo?
Another moron who don’t know how much a game cost.
It’s not lazy, it sells. It’s actually a lot of hard work.
I wouldn’t say it is lazy if the creators like the style. It’s hard for me to imagine anyone saying, “fuck making the game look better/different than this,” just because they are lazy.
Let’s not forget about developers with limited bank accounts!
That dandruff, though.
No Final Fantasy VI? Still the best credits and game ending that I've ever played.
