They made the software themselves and it doesn’t use any copyrighted assets. It was essentially a server emulator or a WOW compatible server, neither of which is illegal.

If you’re using source control, or at least source control that isn’t shit, rolling back should be exactly that easy.

If you look at Final Fantasy as a whole, and even Square Enix RPGs as a whole, they’ve been moving steadily away from turn based battle systems.

Because of neck problems I can’t play the DS or 3DS comfortably. It would be nice to be able to play the games.

Why haven’t they released a DS or 3DS player for Wii U? It even has two screens and one supports touch!

Since the Tanooki suit can only be obtained in a handful of places, and near this slope was one of them, they probably found a bug if you did this and quickly fixed it by adding the sprite.

That’s a valid complain. Nintendo doesn’t create a kart racing game and call it Zelda 15.

The future of JRPGs is probably going to rest in the hands of indie devs outside Japan. Honestly, Square Enix has pretty much took a giant shit on what made Final Fantasy great.

I agree that it was kinda shit. I don’t agree that it felt like Final Fantasy.

The fact that a Final Fantasy game isn’t using some variant of ATB should be enough to avoid the game entirely.

Final Fantasy has taken the best things about the franchise, the delicate mix of high fantasy and steam punk, the extremely diverse characters, and the ATB system and taken a giant shit on all of it.

It’s amazing how quickly people forget and allow history to repeat.
