@CarbonatedFalcon: Hold up - isn't Destiny on the uber-far side of the universe? As in, it has been moving via its FTL drive for THOUSANDS of years so - most likely - it would take THOUSANDS of years to get it back?

@CarbonatedFalcon: Episode about finding a cat-tail like alien plant that works just as well as a tampon = reaching the maxim potential sci-fi has to offer.

@Meredith Woerner: I whistle in the dark. But that could just be me. What can I say? It's what I do well...

@Charlie Jane Anders: Statements like this make me worry cause... well... what happens when they do?

I wasn't interested in the film — what can I say, I like my SF happy Soma-Holiday like — until I realized three words...

@Charlie Jane Anders: Oh - is that what happened during that scene? I always skip it cause it requires too much "save-and-play-back-at-normal-speed" effort in my brain for it to be entertaining...

@Charlie Jane Anders: Come on, really?!? Decker was too busy making googly eyes at Illia to even notice there was a big ass cloud coming towards earth.

@TomXP411: Just curious — what good is any sort of advanced degree in the Arts? Why would I want a Masters in Oil Composition? Or one in Shading and Contrast?

Every time they cut to the interviewer he was all "Wha?... What is happening right now... I don't know where I am... who I am... can I have a glass of water?..."

@outuendo: With hair like that - why do I feel like he needs a role on Glee?

@elSpanielo: When he has roles like "McLovin'" and "Red Mist" it is so much easier to refer to him as those rather than "Minx-Please!" or whatever his name is...

I am particularly fond of the "Barbarian Killer Funnies". Talk about a comedic gold mine...

@Pessimippopotamus: Okay. The only memory I have is from the movie when they show his picture. I think - although I am not sure - that there was a conversation once during SG1 where it was talked about...

@William Courtney: Dark skeletons? well yeah, his teenage (I think) son shot himself. That detonated his marriage and had O'Neill just moments away from putting a bullet in his brain and making it squish himself...

@cubist_zirconia: I figure comedy, at its most fundamental level, is nothing more than a war of attrition. Keep on slapping them until they laugh.

@Polymath: sorry for the double post... especially because it was such a lame comment to begin with...

With Torchwood coming to the States, does that mean they have to call it "Flashlight"-wood?

With Torchwood coming to the States, does that mean they have to call it "Flashlight"-wood?

@AndrosZ: I had the same response. Not that I love the show but I wanted them to at least have a SHOT of doing something interesting...
