As a lifelong Chicagoan I’d say, sounds about right.

I’m curious if this is the same for electric cars? We initially thought about leasing our Volvo XC40 Recharge because we figured the value might drop precipitously and leave us with a big loan since battery technology is rapidly changing and every year there are more electric options. We ended up buying because

I bet it would be super cool to interview her, she’s such an interesting person and really humble. I know as one of her followers one of the big moments of the last many months was when she was able to pay off her parent’s mortgage as a Christmas present as a thank you for all the work they’ve done taking care of her

Yeah I was watching your stream when the article published and she was happy to see it, but seemed confused about missing your communication. It could be because she’s in the subathon and is probably super behind on correspondence but she took a bit on the stream to look for it and I’m not sure if she found it. But

He was so good on Speak of the Devil!

This was a really nice and well researched article. You love to see it! :) (not a dig at Kotaku, btw, just compared to other Vtuber articles of late)

What I think is so interesting in this is that Sony AI working with PD and SIE created a learning system that learns to adapt to changing and unexpected circumstances. I read a much longer article about this and when they were talking about the difficulties of “Sportsmanship” a lot of that had to do with track rules,

Thank you for writing this. After pay day I thought “oh, I’ve always wanted Zhongli, I’ll spend a chunk of cash on this game I’ve spent over 100 hours in.” Cut to me 20 minutes later screaming and wanting to through my PS5 through a window. :)

I’d buy this one in a heartbeat. I love the throwback to the tail lights of the 300ZX and I find the big open, 350Z-style open grille to be a jarring juxtaposition. When I was looking at it at the auto show last year I kept thinking it was the headlights that were throwing me off of the homage, but it’s really the

I was watching this wondering why they didn’t show us this system vs something like Volvo’s safety suite but then after watching the clip on YouTube a referred video gave me the answer- they’ve been working with Volvo for 4+ years to iterate on these systems in hopes of getting to autonomy someday. My XC40 is pretty

And I love that Michelle Yeoh made Bond look like an amateur a lot of the time. They were a great team, but she was incredible.

Yup. If you’re gonna have jiggly-boob physics and call it “cool strong poses” then you need some silly dick jiggling physics too. Give my Mitsurugi in a jock strap when his clothes get chopped off and I’ll call it even exploitation.

Love this list. My top two would be swapped from yours but I realize primarily that playing Link to the Past as a kid has had a massive influence on my interest in gaming like no other game. The story in LttP is so good, that opening sequence might be my favorite opening of any game. And BotW is such a brilliant game,

Yes, completely agree. I noticed the camera angles (as well as the obvious duplication of location just in an alternate time/universe/mirror) and the character moves and the motivations. And I really loved that. I’m often thrilled when I see filmmakers doing that because a lot of the audience is going to miss it

One of the most confounding things about Sunshine. Gorgeous visuals, an interesting cast, some fascinating conceits. And then 3rd act Nightmare on Elm Street via Heavens Gate Cult nonsense. Still like the movie but lizard brain takeover is a very apt way to describe it.

Horizon was my favorite, but I haven’t played Nier yet and from what I’ve already heard from clips and YouTube the music seems phenomenal.

Garbage- still my favorite band. Shirley and the gang still kicking ass.

I think you’re right- I didn’t have access to the newest model and it was DK2, so that could be part of it definitely. I will say I don’t see much of an improvement in terms of ergonomics from the unit I had on so I wonder if it’s more comfortable now? For someone with glasses (can’t really wear contacts these days)

I definitely found PSVR to be comparable in terms of sense of reality between the Rift and PSVR when I tried them, but we’ll see.

See I’m not actually sure there’s going to be much difference beyond price- Sony’s a game company, they’ve been a game company for ages and they have stellar developers who are interested in the format. That doesn’t guarantee quality content but it makes it at least a little more likely than a company newer to the
