Agreed, this really isn’t the appropriate place - a woman / family just lost an unborn child and that is an absolute tragedy. People need to have some compassion.

It’s at this point where I expect any Jezebel article that has the word “gender” in it to have at least vaguely transphobic comments and at worst absolutely vile comments. Seems POC and transgender topics bring out the worst in Kinja.
PREACH I WAS LITERALLY THINKING THE SAME! Some people enjoy those things. No matter how lame, those people do not deserve to be shot up at a fucking party. Have a little humanity people.
I knew the comments were going to be bad but I honestly hoped for better from this site (I EXPECT) better. Some of the comments are just gross.
fuckin’ THANK YOU.
LOOOOOVVVVE all the comments about much gender reveal parties are lame.
You are such an efficiency hound!
Two birds/one stone.
So witches float and wizards sink?
If you ever want to stop someone from clicking on a link to one of your stories I would say that putting “they were red like raw hamburger” in the title of some story on Roger Ailes and sexual harassment would be right up there.
Oh, that’s where this woman was, in a safe space with members of her culture.
A safe space in which women are burned alive by their families. Hahahaha...
Hahahaha, no.
Exactly. You want to make a movie about all the terrible shit Reagan did? HAVE AT IT. Dude was a criminal and an asshole. THERE’S PLENTY OF MATERIAL. But don’t make fun of him for having Alzheimers. In addition to being gross, it’s just kind of lazy.
Yes, vicious people don’t leave kids or families out of it, and they have no mercy. Movies that want to glorify gangs or mafia or cartels make it seem that there is some sort of honor involved so that we (as viewers) can see them in a romantic way. I was reading the blog recently of a girl who was kept as a sex worker…
This writer wrote about his experience as a journalist in Mexico. He writes about the atrocities committed by the cartels, but more importantly reminds us that when we buy from these people, we are complicit in the atrocities. Please read this. http://www.slate.com/articles/healt…
It certainly lessens the dread of voting for someone with Clinton’s record.
Of course it is a tragedy for her and her family. The podcast presented her as a bright, beautiful, well-loved girl whose death rocked a community.
