Don’t knock until you’ve tried it in mid-January. As long as you can keep the speed over 40 or so, the low pressure zone created by the top being down keeps all the heat in the car.

Everyone look at the peasant that’s never had a convertible!
Found the guy who doesn’t cconvertible
Not entirely sure, but I will guess that US market convertibles require you to keep the button pressed because of liability reasons.
Actually for longer stretches on the highway it’s a lot better. I don’t care about wind noise if it’s less than an hour, but at more than 70 mph for multiple hours putting the windows up makes it a lot more pleasant and a lot less loud. You can barely hear your passengers at that speed with the windows down.
No, that’s not “half assing” it. I was doing just that the other night. It was chilly and I was doing over 70. Having the windows up and the heat on made the difference between being comfortable and being cold.
Cuts down on noise a LOT at high speeds.
Perfectly acceptable, it reduces wind noise and makes highway driving much nicer. Winter cruising too.
Nah. It’s delightful, especially on the highway.
I’m down for a civil war. I hate lots of my fellow americans. I dont want to be alive much longer.
New federal regs actively encouraging rolling coal in 3, 2, ....
This treads the line for me (it’s basically aggregating a bunch of shit that she made public, and was aided by people in her own family), I’m just wondering how it’ll further evolve.
You are defending a Nazi. Own it.
Oh please. He’s not a victim of anything. Comparing being publicly but non-violently criticized at a gym to being mugged are obvious false equivalents, as one is a violent crime that also comes with theft of property while the other is just an unpleasant (but non-law-breaking) experience. Being blamed for getting…
They had the right to kick both of them out, but chose to only use that right on the person who had the history of aligning himself with and publicly promoting dangerous, violent, discriminatory political beliefs, for the good of themselves as a business and their other non-white and non-male patrons and employees.…
What is a real crime is that guy is one or a small percentage of Americans that’s left the North American continent (not many get the chance to, can afford to, etc...) and still hasn’t learnt anything about the world, hell the guy doesn’t even know anything about law (or rather what constitutes a crime) in his own…
Instead of bitching about it maybe share one if it matters so much to you.
My dad had a 1977 TR7 hardtop in British racing green, so logic has nothing to do with my decision. Aside from the seats, that interior brought back a wave of memories - I’d almost forgotten that tiny little door-mounted ashtray under the flimsy door latch. No one in my family smoked so these were perfectly clean and…
But even my father told me he was happy that the bill had passed. I asked him if he understood what it could mean if I lost my health coverage, and he said that he still felt it was the right move for the country.
