"Oh, and don't mind that the sardines seem to be staring at you."

Thanks. Even more reason to finally get Roku.

It seems to me, though, that most of the color in any given episode comes from either splayed innards (blood is almost always depicted as very, very dark red) or from Hannibal's dishes. E.g., Hannibal's weird dish tonight was colorful, if nothing else.

I DO need to go back and watch the part of the first season I missed. When I started watching late in the first season, the show wasn't yet available for streaming. I have only Netflix; I haven't got Hulu Plus yet, but I assume it's there, right?

I admit to coming late to the procedings — I didn't start watching until very late in the first season. So this might've been discussed before: Does the fact that the women tend to be dressed in red in an otherwise monochrome show mean anything? Gillian Andersen's character was starkly red against the blacks and

I came late to this show (near the very end of the first season), but has there

I've thought awhile that Pitt's performance as Mason Verger was too over-the-top, but I think it was perfect for the exchange between him and Hannibal: "I'm hungry." "Eat your nose." "Yes, my nose."

Hannibal is a hard sell for people who can't stomach gore. However, I usually can't stomach gore, but Hannibal seems to dwell on it only if it is cinematographically (is that a word?) pleasing, and if it advances the story BY being particularly gory. The show relies more intelligent and bizarre conversations between

Mycroft's little monologue early on reveals Sherlock to have been a dick at least since he was fifteen-years-old. You raise a good point, though. We still have no idea what brought about the rift. And now Sherlock more or less owes his brother his life twice over.

I liked that embrace, too. It was so perfectly played by Johnny Miller, as he just stood there, stoic yet somewhat limp.

I guess faking Mycroft's death is a good development, only in that it provides for Ifans to come back into the cast later (maybe after Moriarty's return? Surely to be next season, no?). Although his actual death might have made sense, I think the show telegraphed it early with Sherlock's willingness to make amends,

West's ex-wife told Watson about the kerfuffle that brought Mycroft back into MI-6, in the kitchen last episode. It seems Mycroft filled in the details.

Thanks. "Harold Martin" was the one on the tip of my tongue — that's the one he used with Grace, right? I can't remember when he used the other ones, though I assume one of them was when he was a 911 operator. I suppose I could consult the wiki, but I get frustrated when I can't come up with it on my own.

This show rarely uses popular music in its soundtrack, but, when it does, it uses it pretty well. Both examples from this season are a bit on the nose, but this show managed to pull them both off. Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt" in the "Devil's Share" could've come across as emotionally manipulative, but the show

Yeah, I'm guessing that the assets of "Harold Finch" would be wound through a serpentine trail of shell corporations, and he probably has three or four aliases that could access them.

Easily one of the best shows right now. I know CBS has a ton of money-makers (the NCIS and CSI franchises, to name a few), but why on Earth do they not pimp this show? Really, this season of POI could rival almost any show on HBO, AMC, FX, et al.

I forgot to put Hannibal in the list of network dramas I watch. Everyone should watch Hannibal.

Shit, yeah. I don't watch many network dramas (this, Castle, and Elementary), but this episode was . . . well, I guess I don't know how to describe it. I have no idea where they are going with this next season, and I love it. Really, September can't come soon enough, to quote "Inanimate Fuckin' Object".

Well, the mantra of Cartoon Network should be in the former word in the title. They tried so, so many times to get a live-action show on Cartoon Network, but every one of them has failed.

Recent Nick shows: "Craig and Sanjay" and "Breadwinners" —- They glean theirs from farts.
