Ah interesting. I knew they were tricky about who get's to use it provider wise (thankfully mine is on the list). But you also need to get the channel and even if you have the right provider and they carry the channel, they don't in all markets or something. Really messed up.

There is. For someone like me it saves time (albeit very little) as I'm always using the terminal and I'd rather not pull my hands off the keyboard to click. Just another way to skin a cat; not right for everyone, but some may like it.

I never know the date and since I'm always in a terminal anyways, it would be easier to pull this up than open up iCal. Meh not a great reason, but saves a few seconds..

Actually Fox's contract for the EPL ran out this year. Next year it will be NBC's and it will be available on their NBC Sports app free (though you must have access to their channel - not regular ol NBC. It's kinda confusing.)

So they do make enough money, it's just that they don't own the UC by themselves, so they get to keep that money out of their books?
