There is. For someone like me it saves time (albeit very little) as I'm always using the terminal and I'd rather not pull my hands off the keyboard to click. Just another way to skin a cat; not right for everyone, but some may like it.

I never know the date and since I'm always in a terminal anyways, it would be easier to pull this up than open up iCal. Meh not a great reason, but saves a few seconds..

Oh I meant watch out for different levels of healthcare. I know some places you can get it at 25 hours, but it costs more/you get worse coverage. But yes that's true about the benefits as well.

You have to look at the fine print on those though. You may be eligible starting at 25, but maybe you won't get all the benefits until 40. Not always the case, just something to keep in mind.
