No. OS X, iOS, and Android all have license agreements allowing them to play netflix. If it was just flash, then Linux would be able to use it. Unfortunately, this is not the case.
I think he was more hinting at Linux, not so much Ubuntu.
I think it's fair to assume he asked because he wanted netflix. Moonlight does not help.
For all of you deriding this box...it is not the deck itself, but rather something to plug into the deck. Please read the article before getting snarky with everyone.
Screen resolution now equals performance? And just because the CPUs are higher specced doesn't mean the performance gains are also better. iOS is very much so tailored to it's CPUs, allowing it to perform more efficiently.
Well, I was talking about LXDE, not XFCE, but I'm glad you're excited about one. Like I said, the great thing is you can test out a bunch and see how it goes. I've avoided XFCE as it runs almost as heavy as Gnome/KDE, but that may not be an issue for you. Good luck.
I have started using LXDE and love it. I'm not sure if it does all the Compiz/AWN stuff great (as I don't use any of that), but it looks nice and it's really light. I would definitely suggest giving it a try. Best part is, you can install any DE and just change your session at the GDM login to try them out. If you…
Nope. Office is closed, and we aren't supposed to work unless we "have to." Of course, by the hour etc...
I hear that (your second sentence that is). Will be here all next week and the week between Xmas and NYE too...
They work decently well for something like XBMC, but I'm not sure I'd want to put a Windows 7 vm ontop of a Windows XP Pro host on it.
I second everything you just said.
MediaMonkey is great for this (if he is on Windows). I actually installed a windows vm just to use MediaMonkey for tagging. I have about 15000 songs, some pretty obscure, and it probably had 95% accuracy. It was also very easy since you highlight the songs you want (easiest to do it by album, which sounds like a good…
After trying 10 different sleep meds, sleep studies, and lifestyle changes, this is the one thing that actually made a difference.
I think you mean:
In the source article it mentions IPs from FOX downloading competitors works. So this is probably not the actual/only answer, though it might account for some of the traffic.
Ya I've had them before. Didn't realize they were anything rare...
Look for pictures of cats and dogs and you'll be able to find it easier.
What high-end android tablets out perform ipads? What metrics are you using to prove this?
Who knew there would be more fanbois in the comments section of a TV Buying Guide than any iPhone/Android or OSX/Windows articles I've ever seen.
