@OMG! Pickles!: Except for their business class laptops, which are excellent...

@TheCuriosity: Shots? Sounds like you were living up to your avatar name.

@Nihar: Where are you at? I'm in central IL.

Whitson, your library reminds me of my gf's from high school :-)

@Posco Grubb: Well more power to him if he can jump right into something more intensive. You asked for suggestions, no reason to be an ass.

@Posco Grubb: I might suggest something more like a scripting language to start off. I just think it might be a better way to ease into programming. Something like perl or python.

@Follower46: That happens quite frequently with the ads here, you've never had that issue before?

@chris0089: In order to shrink something from that range you will have to either compress or remove small parts of it. Basically, you are going to have to lose quality.

@Nihar: My gf just sent me a pic like that she snapped when she left for work.

@bilk: I do. Admittedly not as much as I would like anymore...too many damn hobbies.

@ImmaLion: Since the article states it will only "help reduce pump usage costs" I really doubt it does....

@OCEntertainment: I can't stand living in the cloud. I would much rather have all of my media locally in my network. I find it much easier, don't have to worry about things like buffering or helper apps, and if you want to stream things, then you can even if your link to the outside network is down.

@HeartBurnKid: Agent of R.O.A.C.H.: I think it gets the rap of being anemic because there are some cases where Windows has an equivalent command, but a much stripped down version. Check the difference between dig in bash and nslookup in windows (i think thats the comparable command)...

I am having an issue with my computer fan running at high speed all the time on my HTPC. I use the USB AverMedia VolarMax stick to record with and it only seems to be a problem with that plugged in. The CPU is an AMD Athalon 64 4000, so I wouldn't think just having WMC running would overload it.

@elephantattack: Oh I was only kidding about Firestarter, it works perfectly fine, I just prefer the CLI for firewall stuff...mainly because I can. I like being a nerd.
