@dboudwin: But you have to deal with their crappy downloader. I have always had luck with 7digital.com.

@venc: I think no matter what you put on it, they will probably wipe it and start over fresh. That's been my experience anyways.

@JCulp: I believe you can add chapters or whatever using audacity.

@timbo11: If the network drive disconnects I don't think it would delete everything. I mean if you turn off your computer it doesn't delete everything. I may be wrong, but that's just how it seems to me.

@rg4vr: If you are set on a Macbook (Pro), then it seems like for what you need, maxing it out right now is not the way to go. I'd say 2gb of ram and just the regular Macbook would be fine for now. If you wanted to upgrade your ram later (for less money than they would charge at build time), you can do it very easily.

@Wes: Where we goin? And Congratulations sir.

@acidrain69: If you are disallowing Netwons as tablets, then you must disallow windows tablets. They don't sell many of those at all.

@Ash78, working for the rat race: One time, my band was playing a party, and the neighbors called the cops on us for being too loud. A lady cop showed up, and our guitarist launched into that song. She definitely heard, but we had a permit.

@archbishop: But it only plays the part of doing the downloading. I can think of a bunch of different scripts it would be useful for, but again, the only part wget would play is downloading the page.

@Steel Fox: I don't think it is the hardware limitations they need to worry about. Would Windows 7 really be that useable on a 4 inch or less screen? I personally think they are going about things in the right way here. Make a new OS for the phones (like iOS).

@Standish: For the little while I used 10.6 I actually liked it. Partially because I've used Mac OS since it didn't even have and X on it. Either way, 7 is definitely the most usable Windows OS I've seen, but by no means is it anywhere near taking over my computer. I only use it for recording music really (the one

@joeg679: The droid is 1 phone. Android is an OS on 50 different phones.
