Android is not like the new Windows. Windows is not nearly as open as Android.
@jizMondo: Can Zune play nice on any mobile device outside of a Zune? (Serious question.)
@Joe Attardi: Please lose the attitude and instead add the #corrections tag.
@Tills13: If I'm understanding you correctly, you are basically looking for google voice.
@Metalface Eagle: Agreed, I only buy WD nowadays.
@ComputerSherpa: No I don't sorry. I'm not usually one for making playlists so the only playlist I have, I made in subsonic and saved it, so I just reload it whenever I want to use it.
@Mickets: That looks pretty awesome, I just peeked at the demo. I might have to give it a go. How did you sync your phone contacts originally? Please don't say manually, please don't say manually...
@ComputerSherpa: Check out subsonic...I use it every day to stream my library to work. It's pretty easy to set up and it works pretty well. You can use either the web interface or your own media player. It works great with big libraries too (75 GB here and no complaints).
@Valsodarg: I don't know where there was a link. It was in the magazine Skeptical Enquirer in the July edition I think. That's all I know, I've only seen the copy he has on the computer, sorry.
@Valsodarg: Haha, ya I just meant usually they do ok at getting virii that have been around the block. I guess not ones that have been around the block for so long.
@phiyuku: I have met plenty of Windows fanboys who are just as bad as Apple fanboys. They think they are so totally 1337 because they can assign a static IP to their machine. It's these types (know more than my mom, but not much) who tend to flash their allegiances like it really matters.
@rebeldevil: Wouldn't that actually increase the night sweat though?
@Valsodarg: This is actually becoming less true. With the ever expanding libraries of virus definitions, even the most streamlined (read; NOT Norton etc..) can be a CPU hog and slow your computer down. Also, they are a reactive defense, so you are still very capable of getting the most bleeding edge virii and malware.…
@sudosudont: I get it...BURN! Like the magnesium would do!
@Fractal the Meek: missing the /sarcasm tag?
@strideo: One of the greatest sketches they have ever done.
@ericesque: That doesn't make much sense. With Linux (at least the 7 distros I've used), you get full choice over what shows up in the notification bar. In fact, you can even choose to not have a notification bar.
@Wabbited: I see, I didn't mean to sound offended or anything. I consider it cloud, because as someone who runs a few servers at work, and being considered a cloud, I feel like it brings more humanization to me at work if I consider it cloud. Sorry if that doesn't make sense, it does to me.
@pixelsnader: I'm not claiming it to cover me from everything. If I really wanted to do that, I would set up some sort of secure server with a friend in FL, one in NY, one in LA, one in Chicago, and one in England. Likely, I would be fine no matter what (outside of a worldwide disaster, the likes of which humans have…
