@Johann Schmidt: Performance. The i3s are dual core and no hyperthreading. The low end i5s are identical but they have hyperthreading. The higher i5s are quad core with no hyperthreading. The low i7s are quadcores with hyperthreading. The upper level i7s are the same as the lower i7s, but they have a different design.
