CP. Not a deal.
I dunno’ man. I’ve had two friends who had Giulias and both were in the shop a lot. Both of them now own Teslas... which they also regret horribly, but that’s another can of worms.
“...thousands of people are going to be left wondering what to do when or if their Alfa needs to be serviced...”
Crack Pipe.
Just throw some winter tires on it and drive off into the sunset
And no one suggested a Miata and put on a set of crossclimate 2s or similar snow/ice capable tires?
See, the real problem at Jalopnik is that most of you are <30 (for the little ones out there, “<” means “less than”). So of course you do not realize you you don’t know anything and you think everyone thinks like you. I don’t listen to AM, but I know many who do. And a trade industry publication arguing that using the…
They should have more clearly presented it as a Civil Defense issue, which it is, instead of relating it to baseball and, I’m guessing, religious stations that are afraid of the Reverend not being able to afford his Rolex and lakehouse.
Hence putting it in your CAR, which has NOT lost power.
Yes, it’s awesome to find an AM radio broadcast of Coast to Coast AM during a night drive down a dimly lit country road. It’s the best way to consume tales of sasquatches and alien visitations.
Agreed. The fact that nearly nobody has an AM radio anywhere but in their car and that it might be the last lifeline in the event of something tragic - it seems like a reasonable expectation that all cars would continue to have it.
First of all, I always take cost estimates like those with a large grain of salt. “3.8 billion dollars between now and 2030" parceled out over an estimated 85 million cars sold between 2025 and 2030 (17 million per year) is about $45 per car. Not the end of the world. Also not the use of the word “could,” not “would.”…
AM radio turns any night behind the wheel into a trip.
To get an Ohio used car dealer license, you need to have a $25,000 surety bond. Even though the dealer closed, I don’t think the bond would be revoked/given back to the dealer since there was pending litigation. Earleta Homes could have their lawyers claw back the $3k from the bond money (since that’s what it’s for).
Big fan that Ram will let you paint a truck in 2 low volume greens.
This year only sucks if you do an all-original restoration. Restomod the hell out of it and build a killer Targa.
They punch FAR above their weight when it comes to build quality and interiors.
Here I am, looking at the auction, and thinking $20k isn’t so bad. It’s not far away, I have a garage.
Do not get the Sentra or Kicks. Even with the theft issues for years of Hyundai /Kias, they’re better cars to use and abuse than the Sentra or Kicks.
Nothing anyone on this site could ever say or do will convince me that the Buick Envista is a real car.
