agreed, not smog exempt. if it were titled as a 75, yes, it’d be exempt in CA. as a 76, nope.

was already thinking counterpoints while reading the article...they’re pretty similar to joe’s. it’s not about “cool” or “uncool”. how much they’ve been made to suck to drive is a big part of the death of minivans. granted it’ll never be a sports car, or even a GT car, but it also doesn’t need to handle like a blob to…
notice the wear pattern on the tire too...
Covered a fair bit of stuff, yeah. Kind of interesting how they did some of it too.
i wouldn’t disagree..it’s reasonably high on mine too, though a notchback is even higher.
100% on board that mahindra’s been licensed to make jeeps a hell of a lot longer than fca has been making them.
case in point:
prior to purchasing one of the civics, we hit all the semi local honda dealers...tell the salesdouche at the last one “we’ve already driven one, we’re just looking at prices now”, only for him to respond that he isn’t going to waste his time giving us a price unless we’re ready to buy now.
my 14 yr old motorcycle has crept back up toward $200, as has my 16 yr old compact pickup. even the classic in the garage is edging north of $150 again...
unless you’re in california, where they raid the money that’s supposed to pay for the roads for other things, then cry about needing MORE money to fix the roads...then don’t fix the roads, and probably spent the extra money on more pet programs. the schools are slipping too, cramming more kids in the classes, with…
if you want to rile the purists, how some delicious wrongness of an an Atlas I-6 (trailblazer, colorado). (yes, hot rod garage also covered this, and compared it to the Barra engine).
even lower bar than the Sierra. is ANYTHING still on the road as bad as the Silverado?
i want to wrap one in realtree camo.
must just be my store that sucks then. the atrocious experience and how they addressed my concerns on a car stereo installs jibe with that as well (basically told me my car is old junk, and it’s not their problem the deck wasn’t even solid in the dash; it moved when you pushed the buttons).
if you don’t get an answer here, try some better pics and post it on reddit:
have they IMPROVED their online pickup game? or it’s been at a good level there? last couple times i used it here, i was stuck waiting through the line with the people returning stuff, and taking forever about it, didn’t bring the box, didn’t bring the cables, etc.
one item from personal experience: when i bought my truck many years ago (it was one of the “XX at this price”, with multiple units of the same model, just different colors), i looked, test drove, and the told them to let me sleep on it.
Agreed....there’s just some things that goo and a compressor just isn’t enough to fix, and I’m willing to give up a little weight savings on the day to day to have that security of an actual spare
Sorry, I didn’t dig on all the fitments on that specific one...”temporary kit” is the term to use, and I noticed some weirdness when looking for one for our ‘18 SI too, like it would fit the ‘17 and ‘19 SI, but not the ‘18. I’m tempted to just order one (probably the ‘17 fitment for ours) and try it out. Also,…
