$30k will get a fairly new 4runner in that range...not 100% on flat towing them though.
i will contend that “wholly unnecessary” horsepower is the BEST kind of horsepower.
the nice part is that it’s from a time when the stereo wasn’t tied into EVERYTHING else, so you can just yank it and throw your choice of aftermarket deck in. And it’s new and common enough that you KNOW there’s a direct-fit wiring harness for it.
To be fair, the FCA brands and Chevy/GMC are pretty much all clustered together, just behind Ford.
all for a problem that could be solved by people paying more attention when they’re driving.
this...while forward is important, you have to watch your six almost as much, especially in heavy traffic like that...she might have had a chance to duck between cars.
was looking for dog friendly places on Vacasa, for 2 nights. a good chunk of what i was looking at in a few areas, the fees were as much or more than the actual rate...$200 cleaning fee, $60 booking fee, $30 hot tub fee....or i could go to a hotel and just pay the straight rate (most likely less).
the dog is probably better behaved than a lot of kids nowadays, and they allow kids nearly everywhere...
get that hellcat rebel out already, to fart in the general direction of the raptor
Joey Joe Joe Junior Shabbadoo would sure catch them...even if that is the worst name you ever heard.
believe me, i know...i’ve been watching the market for something that can haul both the family (kiddo and dogs) and a pair of motorcycles. the connect is just a little bit short (another 12 inches would be enough, i think). 4wd/awd for snow trips would be a bonus.
didn’t ford sell an awd variant of the transit for a bit, with the ecoboost v6? i seem to remember seeing it in the configurator...
i always thought they were mostly s-10 based, to be honest, just with a better weight balance.
i was pricing a trip from CA to Portland awhile back, looking at getting the smaller roomette, so i could (safely...see the other comment about ex cons...) sleep through a chunk of the ride. JUST the round trip on the train cost around the same as flight+hotel+ rental car for 4 days/3 nights, depending on which hotel…
they also get some money transporting the recently released prisoners, at least on their San Joaquin route.
or like the guy that said he was “going to blow up the bathroom”?
maybe that explains a certain slow-speed chase....
they tend to be at night...10pm to 2 or 3 am or some such. worked swing shift for many years, so i was out late regularly, including weekends. tended to hit them about once a month. they get really peeved when they notice you avoiding them.
other half’s car is keyless. that, and any of the rentals i’ve had, i just shove the key in my pants pocket.
