products or not, the remainder of the sentence right after the mention of their products makes “patent troll” seem rather accurate.

had someone doing that in Yosmite NP (where it’s 2 lanes of one way for miles), straddling both lanes, so they could get to THAT particular pullout, rather than the next one 200 feet up with open spaces.

do you mean the 110?

on top of that, it appears there was a ruling that they NOT be sealed, and the only thing keeping them still sealed is Goodyear’s appeal in a bid to keep it covered up that much longer.

nothing on topic, just amused to see the article photo is Hwy 99 in Fresno CA...a little bit south of Ashlan Ave, looking North as the highway runs (which is really sorta northwest).

it’s old news by now (being around since 2016), but have confirmed the “history of honda” bit is present in the lady’s 2018 Civic SI as well.

extra horrible in some stretches right now due to construction around the high speed rail. i want to say that looks like it may be around stanislaus/tuolomne or where hwy 99 crosses hwy 180.

don’t forget rags, too

sure you were, just a little too late to get on it before the stopped making them.

no option to edit, but IIRC, they were called Beetlemex.

there was a whole business built around that while they were still manufacturing them in mexico; you sourced a pan in the US, they mated it to all of the running gear and body from a mexican beetle, and voila; new aircooled beetle, but legally, it’s a restored 60's or 70's model.

do the standard beetles self-steer like this? (maybe check this with Torch, too?); i know my super would before i monkeyed with the tire sizes. once you broke the back end loose you could pretty much just steer with the throttle in either direction, and the front wheels would just go with it.

I see at least 6...5 in line, and a 6th silver next to the line at around :04)...looks like it would have been clear but for one trying to escape the pileup and sideswiping it

Spent 4 nights there a couple summers ago (klamath-coos bay-portland-middle of nowhere headed to boise on a 10 day trip) and noticed no such issue in a ca-plated rental. Being in vacation chill mode may have helped though.

also been stopped in my own driveway; registration was paid, but i hadn’t put the sticker one. one of the things they asked was “whose house is this?”.

random driving at night, notice sheriff parked that pulls out and starts following. obey the speed limit, come to a complete stop at the stop signs, signal my turns. get pulled over anyway. said i was “acting suspicious”.

Love.

Pull!

unfortunately, there’s some stupid out west too. the one time i went to traffic court, there was a guy that was there related to driving without a license. yep, drove there again, still without a license.
