I will never understand why people don’t take just one teeny tiny little moment to reflect on why people are mad before the “yes, but”s. How can you have such little self awareness? How can a fully formed grown-up not have developed this skill?

It would certainly have served him well to STFU and listen.
Yeah, James Van Der Beek kinda peaked early. I think Katie Holmes’ career does have an aspect of ‘let’s see how she’s doing since divorcing hollywood weirdo Tom Cruise’ to it.
My lasting memory of a family holiday to France when I was about 14/15 was the teenage daughter in the caravan next to ours constantly playing the Dawsons Creek song on loop every.single.day for the entire time we were there.
At the time I loved Dawsons Creek, but I lost interest by the last series and still don’t really know what happened. Did Jen die or something? But god I hated Dawson - what a winging fuckboy! I was team Pacey all the way. Would be interesting to rewatch to see how it holds up.
Hawas food looks fucking delicious, and she’s so effortless on camera.
I HATE that ‘yes chef’ thing. Chefs are (and excuse me for generalising) egocentric dicks. I get it - kitchens are hot, busy, loud and generally unpleasant places to work, but thats no reason to become a fucking caracuture
Appreciate the /s
Another person in power earning their paycheck there... ffs
Yes - what the fuck with sous vide? It seems infinately more complicated and convoluted - for a start she still has to agitate it in the bag
I think they all knew AP was a prick and this was the moment to show the world.
Sohla is clearly super knowledgeable and creative. There are so many times when she casually slips in some inspired suggestion or food science as if its nothing. In the time she’s been there she’s proven herself as a stand out talent. It’s appauling that she (and the other POC staff) aren’t given the platform or…
Totally, when I saw what Sohla wrote I was convinced. Commenters are always picking up on AR’s attitude and the reaction of other staff around him in the videos he’s in. Generally the comments section is pretty chill (except for some pretty unpleasent Priya bashing at times) - guess you can’t really hide being a dick.
Are you dissing the foo fighters? They were the soundtrack to my '95, my 95' AND my 96' actually.
I haven’t watched the sandwich episode yet purely because I thought it’d be torture for my hungry and unsandwiched belly. I was depressed enough when I watched the taco episode - rural northern uk does not do tacos well...
Tell me about it - this time 6 months ago my biggest problem was infertility, once all this started all I could think was thank goodness I don't have a a pregnancy or kids to add to my anxiety. I hope however you choose to move forwards works for you. Adoption is my only chance of motherhood.
This. I know adoption is hard, stressful and expensive but so is IVF. Its not time sensitive, you still become a parent AND you provide a (hopefully) good home for a child who otherwise could have spent their childhood in the system. We really need to change our attitude towards adoption.
Cool cool cool, but can we first agree that toasting bread on a panini press is the devil's work and I am not here for it
It’s funny, because the song that’s been going around in my head is Rage Against The Machine’s “Wake Up”. Especially (bearing in mind I’m from the UK) the line “Hoover, he was a body remover”. Wondering how I can change it to fit Boris.
