A developer driven conference actually awarded the only truly innovative game out of a year of lame ducks GOTY? Damn Luke, that sure is surprising alright!

I can understand some cynicism over this generation right now. So far 90% of the games have been mechanically old and could have been done last generation if not for their really nice graphics. But look at games like Middle Earth, the nemesis system is really fucking awesome and couldn't even have worked properly on…
Oh god you actually linked that story y'all wrote back before City.
It will probably be bad, but already right out the gate it's more creatively endowed than 95% of games out there.
Yeah I have Dostoyvsky's entire bibliography post-C&P on my to buy list on amazon. Same for Notes From Underground.
When I'm done with him I'm moving on to Roadside Picnic (stalker is one of my all time favorite films) and then cap it all of with War and Peace. I'll add A Pale Fire to the list as well as Lolita.
I just finished reading Crime and Punishment.
I feel like a new man after it, I've never felt so profoundly changed after reading literature in my entire (albeit short) life.
Charlie Hebdo racist?
EVERYONE QUICK JUMP ON THE OLD FART BEFORE HE GET'S BACK UP
QUICKLY NOW
DON'T MIND THE TEARS
Do you actually expect me to read something?
HA NERD.
I've been giving him the benefit of doubt for years now since I don't know exactly what conditions he and his team worked under at Microsoft but this has pretty much rationalizes the years of internet hate for me.
This is honestly depressing. Not only are we watching one of the most storied game designers in history implode right in front of our eyes we also see another cautionary tale of the risks involved with crowd funding.
Someone should post cute cats or something because I'm seriously fucking bummed out now.
As a consumer you'd be a hell of a lot more informed if you just read some fucking reviews instead of scrolling down to see the score or giving it's metacritic score a quick glance :P
Let me start off by saying one of the best things Kotaku does is it's no score reviews and I love y'all for it. But Yes/No/Not yet while not as nearly bad as scores, can still be used like an aggregator like Rotten Tomatoes (which basically says whether or not it got a positive review and takes it's score from that)…
You were on the losing side twice? And what side was that, the monster or the hunter? I love asymmetrical multiplayer so this game tanking really blows </3
I really want to be interested in this game, but all the shit I hear about dlc and blah blah blah is just deafening. It's literally all that comes to my mind when I hear about this game and that's sad because it looks like a ton of fun.
I'm not going to give TotalCracker any ad revenue. Sorry Jason.
Hello pot, this it kettle, I regret to inform you that you are indeed black.
Good day sir.
