I actually agree that it's totally shitty for that manager to try to keep you from going to your senior prom. What kind of asshole thinks it's okay to keep kids/teenagers from having good, memorable moments in life? I was in LA on a Saturday night at 6pm when I had to use Uber because I took the wrong bus. They told me about the surge pricing before I confirmed the ride but did not tell me the estimated cost.... so my $1 ride ended up costing me $4.75 (not a big deal)

I've lived in cities with no taxis. It sucked! And I now live in a city with multiple companies, one of which is a super-cheap rideshare program that guarantees 24/7 access.

Those kinds of 'Nice Guys' are dbags. What also gets me, is that if girls have unrequited love, they are ridiculed. Example - "He's just not that into you." Guess what? SHE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU. Move on and find someone who is actually attracted and interested in you.

Both Uber and Lyft drivers are straight-up fined by my city any time they're caught working, because there's a city ordinance saying that all cab companies have to be operating 24/7, something which Uber and Lyft can't guarantee.

How about lonely, bitter shitheads just stay home and not ruin it for the rest of us? It's not like anyone is looking forward to seeing your crabby pants anywhere. Give me a dozen crying children who don't know any better over an adult cry baby any day.
