Minor correction: The amounts per country on Esports Earnings don’t show the total prize pools in each country. It shows how much players from each country have earned. Sweden has $352k because two of the top Melee players (Armada and Leffen) are from Sweden.

It’s mostly combat. There are a few puzzles in some of the games but it’s not the focus of the game. I look at Zelda dungeons like “solve the puzzle in this room, and here are some enemies to obstruct you” whereas Ys is the other way around - it’s “kill these enemies, and oh here’s a simple puzzle we threw in”.
