I think ppl in public office should be held to the same standards that people who work with elderly & children are held to: no DV or child abuse allegations/charges in their past, and if something happens during the course of employment they should be removed from office.

Unfortunately, no. Unless things have changed on the Fire Tablet, the only way to get apps is through the Kindle store, and Google play isn’t available at the Kindle store. 😕

I have the 8.9” Fire HD and I hate it. I wish I’d gotten the 7”. It’s too big to hold in one hand, and since I use it mostly for reading, that’s rather annoying. On another note, when I do play games/apps on it, the graphics are super crisp.

Reid Ewing absolutely gorgeous and if he truly wrote that article (as opposed to wrote something similar that was edited to sound brilliant), he’s clearly brilliant to boot. It’s hard to imagine someone like him being insecure about himself.

I have very dry elbows. One day, while spending time at my grandmother’s house (not the one with the smutty books, the prissy one), she grabbed my arm and said, “Why are your elbows always so DIRTY?!” And proceeded to spit-wash them.

Pretty sure I snuck-read every single one of these books while spending weekends at my grandma’s when I was prepubescent.

I mean, are you really doing your job when you go in so sick you can’t focus? Is it really the company’s time? Just to be a body at desk? I feel like that’s even worse than calling out. It’s like, time theft or something.

I get PTO - paid time off, but it’s very generous - 9.23 hrs/biweekly. I have over 150 PTO hours available right now.
