I don’t see RBR pulling the plug on Albon. Christian and Dietrich might be keen to replace him, but I’d imagine that the majority owners of Red Bull are probably happy to keep a Thai driver in that seat. Shame for Checo, because he deserves better than to be sidelined. I don’t fault Racing Point/Aston for signing Seb,

Yep.. that’s pretty evident by the way they treat people who try to buy WRX/BRZs. The last WRX I bought was special ordered from the factory and they treated me like I was a huge inconvenience. The only reason I bought from them was because they were the only dealership I went to that would actually let me drive a

Well, it’s good to know that they’re consistently bad regardless of what you’re buying. I just assumed that they weren’t particularly interested in selling me WRXs.

My experience with my Lexus dealership (shout out to Kuni Lexus of Portland) has been the same. No bullshit, no games, just all around good customer service.

I bought both of my Subarus in northeast Illinois, and I had the same experiences. When we bought a new car for my wife, we didn’t even consider Subarus based on the dealership experiences I’ve had.

Based on my personal experience, I’d rate them like this, from best to worst:

We still have DUI laws, but at least in the Portland metro, it seems like there’s no cops around to enforce them... or any other law for that matter.

Corvallis is Beavs, Eugene is Ducks.

I had purchased three new cars by the time I was 24. Granted, this was almost 20 years ago, but still... It does happen.

I absolutely respect Hamilton as a driver, but I have a hard time liking him as a person. Although, if I had that kind of money and success, I’d probably be an insufferable prick too.

It's Livonia classy.

A friend of mine has one of these.. it’s a lot of fun, but I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would pick this over a 911. He says he likes the fact that the NSX looks like a supercar but it’s still driveable and reliable like a Honda, which I get, but I still don’t think it’s worth $160k new, and it’s

Having grown up in a Ford family, I always thought the key pads were so cool and futuristic. Years later, I had an Explorer that had the key pad, and I’d regularly use it when I’d go mountain biking so I wouldn’t have to carry my keys with me. Toss the keys in the glove box, lock the doors, and Robert’s your father’s

Not sure about San Francisco, but here in Portland, it’s perfectly legal for cyclists to coast through stop signs. I am a cyclist, and I very, very rarely do that unless it’s obviously clear and there’s no traffic coming in either direction. People around here are terrible drivers, so I’m not about to assume that they

Is Kimi washed up, or has he just completely exhausted his supply of fucks? Maybe a bit of both. I really hope he retires after this year to make room for some new talent, because it sure seems like his heart isn’t in it anymore.

No question.. he’s an incredible talent, but I think he’s less talented than the hype suggests. We’ll see though. I’d love to be proven wrong. I loved watching him back in his championship years with Renault.

I like Alonso well enough, but I honestly don’t think he’s in the same league as Lewis or Max, at least not anymore. I think he’ll probably drag Alpine (Renault) onto the podium on occasion, but that’s probably about it. At best, they’re still going to be fighting Aston (Racing Point) and McLaren for that third place

If you have +/- $35k to spend and you’ve convinced yourself that you need a crossover like this, just do yourself a favor and get the CX-5.

Honestly, you’re right on all points... But, the market does still exist, however small it may be.

I honestly kinda feel like I’m this car’s target market. I’ve owned German cars, but I’m not interested in another Audi or BMW. I need/want something slightly nicer than a run of the mill Accord, but nothing too ostentatious. I ended up with an IS, because RWD, but if this TLX was around when I bought my Lexus, I
