I love me some 944's, but I hate convertibles, so this is a reluctant CP from me... although, I suspect that for the right person, that’s a nice price.

I own one of these... paid full price for it, and it was worth every penny. Sure, there are plenty of methods for making cold brew that are less expensive, but this thing works well, it’s well made, and it looks good to boot. I have used it every single day since I bought it about a year ago.

I really like the looks of this. The front end is a little bit busy, but the rear and profile are really nice. Maybe it’s just because I’m getting old, but I don’t really see the lack of manual as being that big of a deal. I would prefer a manual if it was my money, but really, how many Z4 buyers actually opt for the…
My pops in-law is somewhat similar.. he’s diabetic and he’s got a jacked up knee among other things, but he refuses to go to a doctor because he’s convinced that if he goes to a doctor, he’s going to die.
This literally made me laugh out loud.
I just wanted to point out how deliciously 90's that bike is in the photo up top. V-brakes, RockShox Judy SL fork, tan sidewall tires (although that’s making a comeback)... all it needs is a set of bar ends and some purple anodized bits.
I like the 944, and I’d gladly give one a home, but I absolutely adore 911's, and to me, that’s what a Porsche is. I don’t even like the Turbo or Carrera 4, because I don’t think Porsches should be AWD.
Uh, yes, I’m well aware... and I don’t really consider those to be “real” Porsches either, but as long as the profits from the Cayenne and Macan keep funding new 911s, 718s and the like, then I’m ok with it.
Hard pass.
My old WRX had this exact same system. Of all the manual-equipped cars I’ve owned/driven, that was by far my favorite reverse lock-out solution.
I know it’s fun to make Beetle jokes and/or complain about lazy styling, but honestly, if you’re Porsche, what else are you going to do with the 911? They thought they could replace it with the 928, and we see how that worked out. They tried to change up the styling a little bit with the 996, and that didn’t go over…
I think it’s ugly - especially the rear wheel fairings, but those plaid inserts in the seats atone for the sins of the exterior.
Never a truer word spoken.
I gotta say, that purple 720 really does it for me.
Am I missing something here? I don’t see a $5 coupon... maybe it’s been taken down?

Exactly. It’s not terribly unusual to see the occasional Ferrari or Lamborghini in my neighborhood, but that LC500 caught my attention more than any of the exotics I’ve seen. It definitely has a futuristic presence about it, especially in motion.
Absolutely. I’m not generally a huge fan of Lexus’s styling language, but it works so well in this application. Spindle grille and all. I love it.
When I first saw this car, I thought “huh.. that’s a nice Lexus”. A couple of weeks ago, there was one parked on the street in front of my building, and I thought “holy shit, I need one of these in my life”. It’s fucking stunning in person. These little details make me want one even more.
My first car was an XR4Ti, so that Sierra Cosworth really speaks to me... that said, I think I’d take the 190. I’ve always found the W201 to be an incredibly attractive design. A 190e 2.3 is on my short list of project/weekend cars once I have a spot to park one. I just hope the prices stay somewhat reasonable.
