No need to worry... he’ll just go into “therapy” for a few weeks, then ask “god” for forgiveness, and everything will be just fine.

Is it weird that I was kinda rooting for the bike?
Haha! Sad, but very true.
Agreed. I’ve owned 12 cars since I started driving, and all but three have had traditional manual transmissions (two were SUV’s with no option for a manual transmission). The third non-manual was acquired about 6 months when I bought a MK7 GTI with the DSG. While I definitely do miss the mechanical interaction of…
Looked to me like the tree and chain were doing a lot of the work there... but hey, what do I know?
I’m guessing that a lot of these NP votes are from folks who are just too young to have ever experienced one of these things in person.
Sign me up...
No, I haven’t.
This was my thought as well. I seem to remember them saying that the headlight blanks were there because they were supposedly working on some kind of awesome new lighting technology that they weren’t ready to show when they introduced the car. The lights shown on this one look very, very uninteresting.
At first, I thought this might be Fancy Kristen, but this feels too forced.
This was what I thought as well... when I was young and stupid(er), I used to jump the shit out of my mom’s 95 Explorer when she’d let me and my delinquent buddies take it out. Most of the time, the air I got in that thing was bigger than what this dude got, and the landing was on asphalt, not sand. You could write a…
*your high horse.
I’m an idiot for having a grasp of the English language? The fact remains that “would of”, “could of”, “should of”, etc., is incorrect grammar regardless of how it sounds. There’s no room for opinion or interpretation there, because it’s a fact.
It might sound a little bit like “would of”, but anyone with an elementary level grasp of the English language should know that “would of” is a combination of words that makes no sense.
Of course I’m familiar with the contraction “would’ve”, but that’s still not “would of”. Anyone who didn’t sleep through elementary level English class would know that “would of” is a nonsensical combination of words.
$798k... Not bad.
“Would have” sounds like “would of” when you say it out loud?
Kristen, I didn’t think it was possible for anyone to unseat Torch as my favorite Jalopnik writer, but I believe that you’ve done it. Whatever they’re paying you, it’s not enough.
I didn’t keep the car long enough to bother really looking into a solution for the problem. I remember that Hondata had an ECU flash or something that would eliminate or at least reduce the rev hang. Had I kept the car longer, that would have been very near the top of my list of things to fix. It doesn’t seem like a…
Yep... my 8th gen Si had this problem, and it was really annoying, almost as annoying as the crunchy second gear synchro. Too bad, because aside from that rev hang, the K20 was a pretty sweet little engine.
