I agree with Marnie’s ranking. Low to high, Snickers, Twix, Reese’s, Kit Kat. Although there are some days were I would switch Kit Kat with Reese’s.

But...but...Top Chef is really good!
This sequence is my all-time favorite Pixar moment. And, as a dog person, how could I resist the rest of the movie? There’s a moment later in the film where the dogs steal the kid’s hot dog, that’s so funny and true to dog behavior. Plus, to this day, I give Dug’s voice to any dopey male golden retrievers I encounter. …
Finding Nemo. I still find the underwater lighting to be so, so gorgeous.
My lasting impression of seeing Finding Nemo in the theater was being thrillingly overwhelmed by all the colors, light, and sense of motion in the movie, so much so that my immediate reaction after the end of the movie was that I needed to go back and see it again, to catch what I had missed. I saw it again at my…
Growing up in an Asian household where game consoles were not allowed, the NFL games of my childhood were all PC based. There was NFL Challenge in the 80s, where you could only call plays, and you literally watched Xs and Os go across the field:
I really loved Togetherness, and it was appointment viewing for me for its two seasons. But that show had the dumbest finale I have ever seen. They are going to open a charter school where kids decide what they want to do every day and the adults just run behind them encouraging them? Not only does that sound…
My friend was fine with the film, like a happy labrador that’s just as happy to scarf down some poo. The rest of us were confused, like he saw a different movie than we did.
Seeing Dark Shadows is seared into my memory.
Libby’s Vienna Sausages. Not something I would have ever gotten into if I had been introduced to them as an adult. But as a kid, they made an appearance every now and then in the pantry. It was an easy, after-school snack that wouldn’t fill me up for dinner.
They were the first cheerleaders I remember to wear a crop top, baring their stomachs. The high kicks with the cowboy boots definitely gave them a Rockettes appeal. Their popularity was definitely tied with the success of the Cowboy teams in the 70s.
More counter space! I have a rice cooker in one spot, and a toaster oven that’s a Christmas gift from 3 years ago that’s still in the box. Just not enough room to fit them both.
The highlights of the 63-point game really took me back. I grew up in L.A., a Lakers fan, so I really didn’t want to watch the hated Celtics dismantle another first round opponent. I remember my family was visiting another family that Sunday. But instead of playing with the other kids, I was mesmerized by this game on…
Octopussy was my first in-theater Bond movie experience. I was 11, and my dad was so excited to take me. The opening sequence had that amazing flying stunt through the hangar. I looked over at my dad when the theme song and the opening credits kicked in, and he had a huge smile on his face.
NO NO NO!
I watched Outlander through Netflix up to the 4th episode of season 2 (they are in France trying to drum up support for their cause). I got distracted by some other show, and never returned to it. Is this show worth continuing to watch? I found the acting to be pretty good (Tobias Menzies as Frank Randall / Black Jack…
I absolutely loved the Locke and Key graphic novels, so I was pretty excited to watch the Netflix series. The Young Adult tone of the show was really confusing to me, as the graphic novels were much darker and more thoughtful. I stuck with the show, because of the novels, but I couldn’t recommend it to anyone. I’ve…

Wahoo’s Fish Tacos has a green cilantro sauce which I love. It’s fresh and bright, and has a hint of a kick. Unfortunately we in San Diego are only down to one location left in the county.
I’m liking that this new web format here at the A.V. Club is highlighting this Random Roles interview. May it live for many days on the top of the fold. Will Harris continues to show why he deserves all the loving that he gets in these comments.
