Okay folks, I gave up after Season 1 because of the characters-acting-like-idiots problem, most notably no one bothering to keep tabs on the black kid who might as well have had a neon sign on him that read "I Will Betray You To The Aliens".  Or using the world's loudest dirt bikes for stealth reconnaissance.

I thought Vancouver was the enticement of Canada, in that it just rains there instead of living with soul-crushing snow.  Seeing all the runaways on Granville Avenue proved it to me.

Yeah, I have to disagree with Donna about people not liking Troi for her "womanliness".  It's more that Troi's only work on the show was to look at the aliens on the viewscreen and say "I feel anger".
