Yes to more "In The Bedroom". That movie haunted me for months after I saw it.

I got their two-disc Greatest Hits back in 2006 through a radio-station giveaway. I was blown away by how many of their songs in their pre-disco days that I had forgotten about. Some songs I knew, but didn't even know it was the Bee Gees that sang them. "To Love Somebody", "I Started A Joke", "Lonely Days", " How…

Okay. I listened to Fables for the first time in years this afternoon on Spotify. I don't know if my original dubbed cassette I had was bad, but I was kind of shocked how much clearer the whole album sounded now. My memories of how my cassette sounded was like hearing a band perform about 50 yards around a corner…

Well, L.A.'s real estate market didn't really balloon until the late-'80s. I think $500 could have gotten Paul a deposit and maybe two or three months of rent. Don't know what he does for food, but I'm sure he'll latch on to some girl quick.

It's like the car crash analogy. Rubbernecking is bad for everyone waiting in traffic, but there will always be morbid curiosity. Now, seeing the same kind of accident will eventually bore you. But, hey, this next accident involves a tractor trailer and a helicopter! So some form of Jersey Shore will renew itself…

For the band, perhaps they associate it with the miserable recording experience. For fans, to each his/her own. Like Hyden says, Fables is about "the actual feeling of being lost". To me, Pageant is anthems and calls to arms, just clearer of purpose. Pageant struck me at the exact right time in life, in college…

3.a Murmur — these two can flip-flop places depending on the position of the sun, too close to call

It's just super cheap to point a camera at a bunch of idiots. What's it cost to film something like Teen Mom versus something like Mad Men, or hell, Game of Thrones? You can charge less for advertising for unscripted and still make a much larger margin.

God, I tried to put on Green during a family car trip. My parents almost lynched me. Had to throw on Simon & Garfunkel's Greatest Hits right after to appease them.

Thanks, that was a good version.

My ex-girlfriend actually helped on the mix. She's spending the summer in NYC doing a law internship, but she used to be one of the engineers at Avatar studios there. She used to be part of The Stones tour group, and knows the regular engineer at SNL, so she went in to help out. Not listed in the credits.
