This isn't a Kickstarter-centric problem. This is a poorly-written contract problem.

I think John Romero left idsoftware because he wasn't in agreement at the time with the violent games that idsoftware was focused on developing. He didn't constantly want to work on bloody games and left for another studio or formed another studio. He then made Daikatana so I'm assuming he changed his mind :P

I don't know how to feel about this. Hopefully no QTEs though. God that would just fuck things up SO BAD.

Yeah there have been times where I've exited Minecraft when I really wanted to continue exploring because I didn't have the courage to explore the caves.
