Well, if your Cybertruck causes a little hemorrhaging, you’ve got FSD to take you to the hospital in case you black out from all the blood loss!

you know what, no. One of the worst things about old pop culture is how little we keep of the mediocre stuff, when that mediocre stuff is very important to understand the culture. For example, how difficult is to find certain sport video games compared to rpgs or adventures.

I’ve been playing games and have been into “geek” culture for 45 years now, and lately I feel like all the momentum made trying to prove that we’re all not weirdos with no social skills and promote the idea this stuff is fun and can be for everyone has been thrown into the toilet.

Now people want to be those weirdos

This is a bit like when I went from being a big Rick and Morty fan to discovering what the vocal fanbase online was like. I love goofy pervy games (Bayonetta, Oneechanbara, etc), and they’re fun, but now a large group has latched onto this like it’s Anti-Woke Jesus or some garbage, and I’ll still get the game and most

And god forbid even a single scrap of cloth is changed from the Japan release to NA. Or even during development. Or even from concept art.

I’ll never get over the sheer incelity of the guy who was calling Aloy “hideous” and when his dumb bitch buddies agreed, he got into detail, and part of it was that she’s so realistically rendered you can see the fine hairs on her face, and he, god fucking help us, though this was a sign of a “progressive agenda”

Until the industry is more willing to openly discuss development processes, the lack of transparency will continue to be used as a straw man for bad-faith arguments that characterize DEI as an imposition by nefarious, unseen forces rather than an effort to cultivate a more accurate reflection of the world around us.

It’s sad how much power the internet has given these troglodytes and how they’ve been able to spread their bigotry despite having so few working brain cells.

Can’t wait to see a driver fly off the edge and for Lakitu to catch him and set him back carefully on the track as to avoid crashing into onlookers and shoppers below.

Shit, it’s been gel pens and those dumb “silly band” things that supposedly looked like characters but were more abstract than constellations are. As long as it is a thing that some people’s parents won’t buy them, it can be a status symbol for kids.

It was jeans when I was a kid and then it moved into sneakers.  I know it was sportswear for a while.  This is just the latest in the status symbol cycle.

I’m just imagining the reaction when someone at 12:30 is rolling through the drive thru and doesn’t see until they get to the menu that the prices have surged way high. You can of course still choose not to order anything, but now you’ve waited in line for several minutes and it’s going to be several more minutes

Guess I’m not eating Wendy’s anymore.

I’m all for higher framerates, but who cares if Pentiment, of all games, runs at 120 fps?

I have seen some twitter discourse about this and FUN FACT: either people get this movie, or they’re just cool with fascism and don’t realize that’s what they’ve been conned into understanding as a good way for the world to work.

The internet did what the internet always does, and takes valid complaints and criticisms for something and spins it into an absolute unhinged mess. Starfield is...okay. At best it’ s a 7/10 out game. I played about 20 hours of it, during which I had fun with it. It needed to be more than that considering the amount

I suspect that the wall-to-wall licensed music is the reason why SSX Tricky has never been added to a digital storefront, and why it’ll probably never get a remaster. But considering that we’ve seen stuff like the GTA trilogy and THPS 1+2 get remasters with a respectable amount of their original soundtracks intact,

Truly western culture will never recover from Idris Elba playing a tertiary character in Thor.

Oh come now, they didn’t “lose.” A Trump appointed judge dismissed the case, which Disney would have anticipated and which they will have a response for, and the case will continue. A case being dismissed due to a lack of standing means that it wasn’t even considered on its merits, so Disney in no way “lost.” The

The head looks more like Powdered Toast Man.
