Holy shit. This place is one of my go-to media outlets for political news. I really do love it here. I’m so sorry for the staff. Thanks for a decade (for me) of your talents. Much Love.
Fucking Spanfeller. Fuck you .
That blows chunks. I’ve been here since Erin Gloria Ryan was still working finance (in Chicago?) and she was commenting on the sly as “Morning Gloria”.
Parent you children, lady!
If there’s one constant in PC gaming, it’s that any two random players with ostensibly suitable hardware will have very different experiences with performance and bugs.
As a result of the ruling, Rokita will receive a public reprimand and a $250 fine.
Makes the fact that his first big act is to push for defunding the IRS that much more understandable.
I like how after a bunch of embarrassing failed speaker votes, THIS is the doofus they all get behind.
And all your take says, to me, is that you think reading things as uncharitably as possible is clever, for some reason.
Having worked in QA I can say that the majority of the time they’ve found those bugs before, but frequently dev will punt bugs because it’s a no-repro or low occurrence rate and willing to just allow a few players encounter it (aka “fingers crossed cert doesn’t find it!”).
The state of the law in the parts of the country covered by this ruling is that the state can’t require licensed medical professionals to tell the truth, but can require them to lie (the rulings allowing states to require false information be given to patients seeking abortions). If you wrote this as fiction, it would…

It’s a shit way to abuse developers, customers, and business partners, but I completely understand the perverse pride that comes from working through sucky conditions. It’s an ugly baby, but it’s theirs.
Might I suggest Hakeem Jeffries? Anyone? Five anyones?
I want to know two things: 1) wth is on that web page they have to read that’s so important that they think people don’t already know. 2) why in the world do they think it takes 24 hours to interpret and process the contents of that page? These women are not deciding to have an abortion and getting it the same day.…
So according to the source article, the process works like this: A patient has to schedule an appointment. Then they get directed to a state website, which then directs you to another website, which then asks the patient to click through to another site for patients. The site they ultimately end up on is cluttered…

I worked at ToysRUs in the late 90's and remember all the Hot Wheels collectors coming in and trying to push their way into the back room to get their hands on the cases in hopes of getting a rare cars. It was worse than Black Friday the year Tickle Me Elmo came out.
