I giggle when people describe literature as "cinematic."

Why wouldn't you want the plot to completely center around him? Because he's white? Because that is the very epitome of a racist statement. You've seen a white man, you've decided that no matter what other traits he possesses, you don't like him. Yep...that all checks out as racist as heck.
