Bars close at 2:00am here.

Lawrence Phillips was definitely on board before he recently died in jail.

I went to college in Iowa and spent a good amount of time in Omaha too (college World Series kicks ass), and NOBODY from any of those cities he mentioned is gonna haul themselves down to Omaha in big enough numbers for it to matter. IA and NE are pro-sports dead zones. Also bars close at 1AM in Nebraska. Fuck that

Man imagine the cornfed blue collar football guys they will attract. No glory boys, just good players from good families who will really become students of the game. I say go for it.

Um, no. There’s a reason why:

+1  sybian

Weird, most people have no problem riding a Siemian to a strong finish.

Or maybe the Pats D is legit. Patriots have allowed the fewest points of any team in the league.

Meanwhile, Aqib Talib was disappointed in his own play, leading to a bizarre recreation of the “Edward Norton beating himself up” scene from Fight Club.

Wow, those guys have some problems on offense.

Yes, he absolutely should be enshrined, but at the same time, it is so fucking funny that he isn’t. Knowing he’s on twitter searching for “Curt Schilling HOF” getting angry at people who say they wouldn’t vote for him. It’s the little things that make me happy.

It was less about talking about Pokemon in the workplace and more about dropping the task at hand (meeting a deadline!) to go on a Pokemon Go sidebar.

We’re getting to the age where kids who grew up with Pokemon are full-grown adults with jobs and even managerial positions. It’s not going to be weird to talk about Pokemon even in a grown-up setting. It’ll be a shared cultural touchstone that will descend through the generational progression.

Re: Pokemon Go—We were having a major meeting at work with our partner company, and somehow the game came up and one of their guys completely stopped focusing on the task at hand and went on a total Pokemon Go nerdout. It was unreal. My boss, who never played, was dumbfounded.

Really, this is not self-deprecation, it is called “living in Ohio”.

I can only assume that Pryor went into a locked room and screamed into a pillow for 15 minutes after finishing his interview.

As it should. Not that anyone was hurting but the last few deals have been way too friendly to the mid-tier guys and pretty good “stars”. Meanwhile what Lebron’s been paid vs. what he’d have made on an open market probably amounts to a couple of franchises.

I write about games every day. I believe they are a powerful art form. I wouldn’t do this job if I didn’t believe in the efficacy of games.

He Led his target from the Zeppelin.

The moment DICE announced their take on WW1 with BF1, people instantly got offended because of the subject matter. I just don’t understand how far a company has to go to not offend somebody on the internet, especially for an event that happened ~100 years ago.
