It’s absolutely classic too.

The internet-age equivalent of “my mom’s hairdresser works in New York and she was supposed to get a perm on 9/11"

It reminds me of the Logan Paul suicide forest nonsense, although it won’t stick to him as much as it did to Paul because “creator spends 10% of his enormous youtube revenue on reputation massaging through performative charity” is apparently enough for his fans to ignore how full of shit he is.

I don’t believe him, and this is some weird clout chasing or whatever you want to call it that he definitely doesn’t really need.

Just another lyin’ ass Youtube narcissist mofo from the ample crowd of those it sounds like.

Just like the people back in the day who claimed to be “on the last lifeboat on the Titanic” which was apparently fairly common after it went down.

I’M SPARTICUS!

So I guess this is a thing now? Everyone coming out of the woodwork saying they were invited to go down in the submersible?

Who?

Do you carry a cell phone? Congratulations; every single place you’ve set foot ever since you’ve got one is information that’s currently for sale.

Its time legislation caught up with reality and make ALL personal data collection and transmission opt in. At the very least in industries that are already regulated.

we don’t let the government spy on us

He also mentioned that since they’ve been doing deep sea excursions (I think he dated back to the 60's?) there have been zero fatalities — until now. That’s a pretty astounding track record, that this negligent “expedition” now undermines.

This is what a professionally built submarine looks like.

More real than You think:

The fact that any Stellantis brands could rate highly on quality is a dead giveaway that its BS.

Just a reminder that JD power initial quality is a very poor metric for reliability. It basically just shows which brands can iterate on their Ux faster.

I make trucks for real people who do real work, and that’s a different kind of truck”. Riiiight. Real work, like driving your luxo-barge $80k pick-up to PF Chang’s.

In all fairness, not all F-150s are bought by people who are doing “real work”. One of my neighbors has an F-150 and, I can assure you, does nothing with the truck that could even remotely be construed as “work” other than transporting him to his place of work, which does not necessitate a pickup truck by any stretch

Yes, because if there’s one thing we know, it’s that J.D. Power is the gold standard for independent, data-driven analyses.
