He’s scummy for cheating and she’s scummy for LITERALLY everything else. I feel bad for Williamson’s girlfriend more than anyone else in all of this. No, he doesn’t deserve to be harassed like this. But he still cheated. So my sympathy for him is limited.

I wouldn’t get on anything that goes underwater unless it was like a nuclear submarine or something operated by actual professionals. And even then I wouldn’t.

I’ll tell you what though, Mercedes knows how to make beautiful shapes from the rear angles, like man that is simple yet gorgeous.

Also funny: jail time, criminal record and being sued.

I gotta disagree with the assessment of the controller’s value vs safety towards the end of your article. It should be made clear that while yes, xbox controllers are technically in use on the attack subs, even the linked article indicates those controllers have nothing to do with actually controlling the movement of

Ah, true. Particularly because, on these Chargepoint units at least, each cable is on a swing-out section (we have CHAdeMO and CCS). I assume they’d just replace the CHAdeMO cable with an NACS one. Still an expense but one that dealers, or ideally manufacturers, could stomach more easily.

Don’t you need your phone? Even if you’re the kind of jerk who thinks wanging someone in the head is funny; is it funny enough to chuck your device so you probably won’t get it back? Did dude bring a spare “throwin’ phone” just in case this particular comedic opportunity presented itself?

Thanks, as if this whole situation wasn’t nightmare inducing already.

I would think if you have the main components and utilities setup already that the port/cable would be a relatively easy update. I mean what happens if the normal port gets damaged and needs replaced? I assume a smarter/more well versed commenter will be by soon.

It should have been standardized over a decade ago.

Congrats on bringing the morning shift back to a single post. Much better!

What an age we are living in now that Kias are something people recommend to one another.

As a former FK8 Type R owner, I don’t understand the point of this car given the price. ~$8k premium over a Civic Type R and, as best as I can tell, the only differences are the ugly half leather interior, 4 more speakers in the sound system, heated front seats, and an Acura badge.

What luxury features does it have that justify an $8k higher price? Heated front seats, 4 more speakers, and an Acura badge?

I feel like this has become common knowledge over the last few years: If your intent is to buy a Tacoma for anything other than being abused by your construction/landscaping/whatever company for 20 years and 300k milles...

IDC how it drives. it’s a too heavy, $50K, wrong wheel drive, poser mobile for guys aren’t but want to be assumed as an automotive enthusiast with money.  So, like the majority of the car scene right now.

There are a couple of these I don’t disagree with, but for most of them, I feel like this is just another piece of evidence in the case for not relying on Consumer Reports for anything automotive related.

Frankly, when he was on the plane to NYC to be arraigned the first time I was surprised it didn’t make a quick right hand turn over to Moscow.  Same for when he flew down to Miami last week.

It might be that the person placing the orders wants to observe that the delivery happens, further indicating that the card is good to go.

Better than a phantom pooper, at least!
