I like driving a manual...but this thing seems pointless, like a rotary phone dialing app for your cell phone.

It is nice of Toyota, though, to spare a thought for the dozens of people who are demanding this feature.

What a waste of time and engineering.

EVs are appliances.  What’s next?  Our refrigerators will start making vroom-vroom sounds?  I’d rather let ICE + manuals die a dignified death than go this route.

I don’t even really get paddle shifters if i’m honest either. If the the transmission is already near telepathic, I just simply don’t use them unless I wanna high rev downshift to listen to the engine, then it’s cold, my fingers start to freeze up a bit lol. I would prefer a center console push up down than paddles

Simply the stupidest thing I’ve read so far today.

I love driving stick shift.

Apparently, Toyota decided that what they REALLY needed to implement in their EV’s is Mario Kart’s “Don’t hold the gas button until the light turns green” feature.

This is a dumb feature. I stopped stalling my car after the first day/hour of driving stick.

No sillier than fake exhaust sounds up to a 126 db to keep bros from feeling emasculated by their vehicles.

That’s divorce 101—you NEVER want to be the first to leave the maritial home. Girl’s got a good lawyer.

Willing to put down a cash bet that Trump is on the balcony of the Kremlin declaring his loyalty to Putie-wootie by the end of July.

The part that really gets me about these is that they STILL have a 5-speed auto. Even the Taco has a 6spd now. I am a fan of Toyota sticking with what works and prioritizing durability over advanced tech (I bought a GX460 for this exact reason), but sticking with a transmission that ancient in a car at this price

Down hill with a tail wind, sure.

Ehh, the TRX, Raptor and the two Dodge vehicles would be there too. The rest though, gas prices aren’t a thing those buyers deal with or care about.

Honda CR-Z.

Many here -myself included- are old enough to remember that Texas was the last state to criminalize having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle while being driven. Let’s bring that back. And child labor. And let’s roll back all progressive laws over the last 120 years, in fact. Ban interracial marriage. Make all

People are going to think I’m nuts for this one but the 5th generation 4Runner. After having a couple of 3rd gens I figured the current model in the Off-Road Premium trim would be a keeper. Sure it’s a great truck but I found it larger than it needs to be and so smooth that it seemed detached from the driving

With the exception of maybe the Wrangler, anyone buying any of these cars won’t give a single shit about fuel costs.

Props to the officer who pulled him over. My guess is most wouldn’t.
