If we're going on his premise that video games are designed to be fun, then yes only fun things should be video games.

You'd be wrong. The majority of the American people think war is okay and even great. Games only reinforce that by making shooting "terrorists" a multibillion dollar entertainment industry.

Epic poets have done it from the dawn of literature, authors have done it, musicians have done it, painters sculpters weavers filmakers graphic-novelists puppeteers have all made a complex human relatable story about war.

Not even close. Do enemies have motivations, families, any sort of humanity what so ever? Have you ever, ever felt bad about killing another human being in one of those games?

Video games are designed to be fun. War is not. Do not make war video games.

It's not an issue of desensitization, but an issue of making WAR look like paintball and removing all the hellish parts to make the game sell to teenage boys.
