Maybe Clay should have a talk with Harrison Barnes about shoving Mozgov towards him when he was attempting to set the screen.

Reckless moving screens have been a key component of the Warriors’ offense for the last few years.

You guys need to actually watch Wiggins play. He’s a bad defender. He’s a taller, skinner Dion Waiters... who sucked and had no role on the Cavs.

Mosgov’s legs were inside his body. This is a textbook screen. Not even close to a trip

That was a clean basketball play if you ask me. I mean do we really want to start pointing out dirty screens when the Warriors are playing?

Seriously Ley, what are you, the Warriors Info Minister? That screen was clean and legitimate, and if Mosgov was moving it was just barely and totally under the threshold usually tolerated in the NBA (see Green, Draymond for further clarification).

At some point the NBA should suspend him for flailing his legs. He may not have the intent to make contact with anyone but he is still reckless. This should be no different than how the NBA suspended Kobe on multiple occasions for elbows when he flailed his arms to draw a foul.

Yeah. I don’t get it. Also, it looks like Mozgov actually tries to pull his leg out of the way at the last second, not stick out. I have no idea what Klay is talking about not setting screens in the paint. Is that an unwritten rule that I’ve never heard about in 20+ years of playing/watching basketball?

The Warriors complaining about dirty, moving screens might be the least self-aware thing to happen in 2016 outside of Trump eating Chipotle.

oooooooook there was nothing dirty about the play

Man that screen wasnt dirty. Mozgov was basically set and Klay ran right into his leg. Mozgoz didnt stick his leg out or anything. Klay is just much smaller and a knee ended up in his thigh. Now, the elbow to Love’s head? also not dirty.. just accidental

This guy has taken so many liberties with his status as a “journalist” by knowingly allowing himself to become basically glorified PR staff for UFC in exchange for access, so I was having a hard time finding any sympathy in the first place.

If you are new to the world of Ariel Helwani, he likes to make himself the center of many stories (his denials of this were hilarious) and he was totally playing up the victim angle today. It was bizarre.

I have to admit that while Helwani’s video was somewhat odd to follow at time, partially understandable considering the circumstances, I do find it quite interesting how much this actual article cherrypicks about what he said while being critical of him as a journalist.

Anyone reading this should definitely click on the link and listen to the show for himself. Helwani actually does speak on not wanting to have a his checks affiliated with Zuffa and says that he has the emails to back this up. That’s something that probably should’ve been included in this writing.

Sorry - I think “Kyrie + LeBron” and “Kevin + LeBron” are both very good places to start, because LeBron is LeBron, and he overwhelms lesser considerations about “fit” - I meant the troika. It’s that I don’t think, in the abstract, you’d say “what Kevin Love needs is, let’s give him LeBron or even any other superior

According to FiveThirtyEight intern Kyle Wagner

As much as I enjoy reading Deadspin, I don't think their ignoring an issue will fix it. Especially because a lot of people enjoy MMA. Why ignore it when being critical could ultimately (hopefully) change the organization for the better?

My husband, a fan of both his radio show and PTI ,has late stage brain cancer and Tony Kornheiser had him come to a taping of PTI where there is no audience. He also gave him a tour and had him take multiple pictures on set. Marc “Nigel “ Sterne sent him a voice recording wishing him the best and they sent
