@sudosudont: Most likely locked down with AD so shouldn't be a problem.

@The SmacK: You can even just use the built in Kinect Tuner that shows you exactly what the Kinect system is seeing.
@dogcow: If you use your 360 for entertainment (Music, movies, etc) then Kinect is pretty handy with voice commands and in air "Minority Report" style control.
@ahnundh: This is how I have it set up. My TV is about a foot and half in front of the wall. I bought the wall mount kit and I have it roughly 6 feet up. I wouldn't go more than 6 feet unless you are really tall.
I would like to disagree with the "Kinect wall mount doesn't help with space"
@DirtyDogg: Yeah I'm waiting for the update to the netflix app. But navigating the Zune marketplace with your hands and/or voice is slick.
@EBone: I have all 3 systems. Move didn't interest me... I played with it and it's more of the same. An HD Wii if you will. I got Kinect and I'm having a blast.
@herogear: I really don't think Kinect is getting a pass. The only real flaw I see, is the amount of space it needs and for me that was easily fixed with the wall mount kit. The press has continually brought up the space issue though so it's not like it's being ignored. The fact is that once you get past the space…
@herogear: Have you tried it? It's worked amazingly well for me and I definitely see this as the future and not just for video games. Does it need some tweaking? Of course, but for a first gen product they did a remarkably well job.
@pmbaustin: I live in an apartment... and a small one at that. I got the Kinect wall mount kit. My TV is still on it's stand, but I have the Kinect camera on the wall about a foot and a half behind it and about 6 feet above the ground. It gets a perfect view of my floor space with me in it. I'm only 5'9", but it can…
@Ash Paulsen: Understandable. I was just very interested in the tech and so jumped on it. I'm not disappointed in my purchase. Find a way to try it out if you can. It's definitely cool.
@MayorBloomberg: We're just playing the semantics game now.
@Ash Paulsen: The wall mount was for the Kinect sensor only and it set me back a whopping $14.99. My TV is still on a TV stand.
@MayorBloomberg: It was when you said "Sure. Have you ever seen that idea implemented practically?
@MayorBloomberg: Computers were pretty impractical when they first came out too. Just because a tech hasn't been implemented practically YET, doesn't mean that it's not going to be.
@Ash Paulsen: I was weary about having enough room since I live in a small apartment. I wanted to get the LCD mount kit so that I could put it above my TV since that's supposed to add a foot to the overall distance. Unfortunately the store was out of those. What they did have was the wall mount kit. So glad I got…
I'm gonna say that's a Geof cake. That guy knows detail.
@locomodo: Somehow I doubt those casual users that are already hooked into Apple will realize or care.
How is this good for the consumer? Just gives more control to Apple. I like popping my sim card out of one phone and putting it another if I need to. Like say when my main phone breaks, I can pop the sim into an old backup I have laying around.
Honestly... I wouldn't buy or replay any remakes. I barely have time to play NEW games. I'd rather MS focus on new experiences than appease sentimental gamers...
