@ilovetofu: I doubt this will be use for phones. This seems like it's purely for the AA, AAA, D, etc devices. I'm sure their wireless mice will use it. Seems like a really easy and cheap upgrade.

This is actually a really simple, but genius idea. Not every idea has to blow your minds. If this catches on then it'll just be one of those things that seem normal in the future.

@mopo: I did too!

@MatthiasBeoulve: I'll have to see the movie to hear exactly what you mean, but to be fair... the show was saying Avatar wrong in the first place. Avatar is an Indian word. But I guess it's similar to how people pronounce "karaoke" wrong in English and it's just the norm.

@Burke: I even have the Hypnotoad on my Nexus One. I'll keep him under wraps so I can finish this comment.

@Burke: I know! I was so hapALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD!

@breadofwonder: I gotcha. I've been there. Though if you don't mind dipping into savings and then basically paying that back into your savings monthly, it would still work out better in the end. Of course you would need to be pretty confident that you won't need that chunk of your savings anytime soon.

@breadofwonder: You do realize that you more than pay for a phones full price with a 2-year contract right?

@dislexicmofo: Thanks! And I did own a Winmo device. Had the T-Mobile MDA for about 3 years :) It was back when they weren't really trying though. Winmo basically doesn't exist to me anymore. There is only Windows Phone 7/Zune.

@Kaiser-Machead: There were Zune ads on TV? I think I remember a really old one for the original Zune, but have they ever advertised the Zune HD on TV?

@Ozzie, The Banana Man Fan: It's still kind of a slap in the face, because you just know that flaky icon animation wasn't the only reason. You really think the brains at Apple couldn't think up a simple workaround for that? I'm pretty sure they could and maybe even did. However, Jobs wants you to buy the new one and

@Xyberfaust: While that was my least favorite plot point... I miss that damn show so much.

@atrus123: Ok so I tested out Android with the 360 and unfortunately it doesn't work.

@reverend_green: Actually RROD isn't preventable. It's a design flaw. I've had two 360's fall to the RROD. My launch console actually lasted a really long time and it's replacement (a brand new console thanks to Costco) lasted about a year. Both were in the same place in my living room. Completely open on ALL sides.

@Kenneth Faeldonia: No problem. Yeah it can seem similar, but when you realize how it's actually working, it becomes something completely different.

@reverend_green: I don't, but even if I did, I wouldn't blame the vase maker that the vase broke because a kid dropped it on the floor.

@Kaiser-Machead: Oh don't worry. It's still like that. The first thing I do when set up a new computer for anyone. Uninstall Norton anything. Having Norton on a computer is worse than the viruses it's trying to protect you from. Give me the light, effective, and free Microsoft security essentials any day.

@Kenneth Faeldonia: Yes. It's a very big difference actually. I think one of Microsoft's biggest challenges is making people realize exactly how cool their tech is. It's not just a camera seeing a "moving body." It's multiple cameras recognizing a body with joints. It knows when you use your right hand from when you
