It’s not 355hp, it’s 340hp...they bumped it up for the 2019 (or 2020?) year. Plus 62,000 miles is a fair bit for one of these. Yeah, big ol’ crack pipe here.

YES...please have a star.
Well as long as you’re doing it respectfully I suppose you can disagree lol I own an NX and have checked out the LC (and LS, UX, etc.) a few times at my dealership, both are quite decent looking in person, grill and all. The LX and GX look awful with it though.
The grill is really only ugly on vehicles that had it smashed onto after design...those designed from the beginning with it are actually quite nice (LC, NX, etc.)
I still own one of these (a 2008) that’s overdue for replacement...good timing Toyota, now I can just get another Rav4 with monster power!
LoL way to gloss over the other comment about the IIHS.
And yes, good idea, call us all fucking idiots...you just keep digging that hole buddy.
(I wonder how much more pissed off I can make this guy?)
Sure but I’d rather not crash in the first place...
Oh ya, IIHS good source...the group who represents companies who profit off of people getting tickets.
Also, I have way more stars on my posts than you, clearly people agree with me.
Change a limit by 10mph and the actual travel speeds might increase 1-2mph...it’s been shown through dozens and dozens of studies that people travel at a speed that feels safe to drive which is why setting the limit at the 85th percentile makes sense, it’s the generally safe speed and not at some arbitrary limit. But…
Except limits in line with what people want to travel (85th percentile method) reduce crashes...and the 85th percentiles are typically higher than the politically set limits.
Wrong. Higher SPEED in crashes yes, but it’s not the LIMITs themselves. And a limit set to minimize crashes (aka 85th percentile) is the best safe speed.
Speed is easy to enforce and they’ve campaigned for years to ingrain speed kills into people’s minds so they can justify their enforcement as “safety”.
You guys do realize that it’s a speed limit...if your vehicle can’t go that fast you are legally allowed to go slower...or better yet, stay the eff off the highways and take the back roads, especially in a miata!
They’re “piloting” (which means putting it in with a softer term and never taking it out obviously) 40km/h limits in residential areas and 30km/h by schools in my neighbourhood. It’s absurdly slow and the whole “speeding” is the problem thing is so beat into people’s heads that they can’t understand any other…
The F-22 works but we didn’t buy enough.
The F-35 took a long time but it’s actually starting to look very promising, unit prices keep coming down, and they’ve rolled out hundreds of them already.
Wow, you are a special kind of stupid.
Well shit, we might as well get rid of airbags, seat belts, helmets on motorcycles, crumple zones, and pretty much every other safety feature out there....this is such a horrible take it should be retracted and you should be professionally embarrassed about posting something so outright wrong. Helmets save lives,…
It’s not just the seats, it’s every material and component being that bit better or higher quality or tighter tolerances...and then the engineering and testing that goes into them to make them hold up for decades and not squeak/rattle and then manufacturing consistency so you don’t have baby leg sized panel gaps.
Way better handling and braking and interior/build quality and a Porsche badge...that’s not a hard sell.
Have a star...this is the perfect take.
