It’s the intangible things that make the Porsche better...cars are often a very emotional purchase and Porsche ticks a lot of those boxes.

I’ve driven a couple box trucks of various sizes...also drove the tractor portion of a tractor/trailer (ie without the trailer)...even that felt enormous compared to a normal sized vehicle.

No car in the history of man kind has been absolutely problem free. There’s also a bunch of crap on that list from like 3 generations ago...wow the 996 had IMS issues? oh no! Those have been completely fixed since the 997.2's 10 years ago, and we’ve had the 991.1, 991.2, and 992's since then.

Porsche is a better badge, but even then it’s a properly built car...not a panel gap filled flaky piece of junk like the Tesla.

It will also drive/handle better and consistently perform, and I bet the real 0-100 times are way closer than you might think.

Porsche is meant to be exclusive though, they are purposely not mass market. They aren’t really going after people who don’t make big $$.

Idiot this is right in line with the Panamera Turbo S. List prices here are $213,900 for the Taycan Turbo S, and $214,600 for the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid.

Guess what too, a base model Panamera is $99,300. So the base Taycan will likely be in the same ballpark.

It IS twice the car...the fit, finish, built quality, reliability, consistent performance will be leaps and bounds over the Tesla.

Workers aren’t forced to work for Uber/Lyft...they’re doing it by choice and they should know what the costs are. Regulating it makes no sense to me, do the law makers realize it will make Uber/Lyft disappear which will actually take income away from people who rely on these gigs to make a living?
