Jason,
Jason,
I know this seems counter-intuitive because it is a complex game with a ton going on and a crowd of people, but I always recommend craps as a go-to casino game for the following reasons:
2 billion people watch cricket. The cricket-playing countries have a total population approaching 1.5 billion people. Of those, how many play cricket? Not all of them. Of the ones who do, how many are competent hitters? The boundary in cricket is much closer than an outfield wall, and the bowler can’t bend the elbow…
I lived in places that were hard to sleep or cook in. Those are kind of crucial components of your earning and saving machine. My current affordable place is good for sleeping and eating (yay!) but has a long-ass commute.
Yes, every once in awhile he’ll say something positive about indexes funds but mostly he wants people in high fee funds. And I’d never base my retirement plans on 12% gains.
Same here. There are lots of things Dave says that really annoy me (the anti-liberal, pro-prosperity doctrine stuff mostly) but I love how he yells at people. I don’t think debt is as awful as he says but I’m also glad to be down to just our mortgage.
Yep - me too on the mortgage side. 3.25% is pretty damn low so my thought is to see how I can attack that monthly bill from the Insurance side of the equation.
I’m with you on the product side of things - I even think the whole classroom stuff that he pushes is a bit iffy. It costs about $100 for the materials to go to his class (workbook, worksheets, excercises, etc.) If he was pushing it for more like $30, I would feel better about that whole thing.
Where would one obtain these “distant relatives” who leave you money when they die?
I grow olives in a little patch behind the local Williamsburg starbucks. I harvest using only organic processing shears I self sourced from a vendor in little italy. I then press the olives on a stone that I carved myself last summer when I wasnt able to make it to the Hamptons because I lost my phone. I then slow…

I’ll also add a vote for the plain-jane Kirkland Olive Oil. I use quite a bit of it in cooking (ie, with *everything* I cook, so it’s literally in breakfast and dinner, and sometimes lunch), and it’s just a good, simple, relatively inexpensive olive oil. And plain olive oil has a higher smoke point than extra…

Costco Kirkland Organic EV. Delicious, light, aromatic, and... inexpensive. Validated by UC Davis as authentic extra virgin, as opposed to all the other national (non-boutique) brands in the test.

Costco’s Kirkland-branded EVOO: great taste; amazing value; and tests show that it’s one of the few brands sold in the US that consistently meets the IOC/USDA definitions for “extra virgin”. It’s not as good as the stuff my uncle makes in Lebanon that I pack in my suitcase every time I visit, but that you can’t really…

Players get an opportunity to look over the puzzle and set out a plan
NBC wants me to turn off adblocker to see two guys get their balls near each other? What is this 1990's cable?
This fucking dipshit is an approved commenter, and I’m not.
I *think* time trials favor riders who can put out large wattage over a long period of time. Climbers can put out a lot of power *relative* to their bodyweight, which doesn’t help when the main opposing force is drag. Sprinters can put out huge power but only over, say, a few hundred meters. They’re basically useless…
Nope. Not doing it.
