That’s when you break out the ham!

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

Am I a dad? Let me preface by saying that I have never physically fathered another human in the definition sense, HOWEVER:

I thought that was Enneargram.

I recommend Car Talk. Formulaic enough that it’s no big deal if you miss 15 minutes, lots of inane banter to put you at ease, and the occasional brain teaser (both of the “puzzler” form and the “my car is doing this weird thing” form) to kick your brain into a meandering web of tangents.

I’ve probably read a thousand resumes in the last few years. I don’t think I’ve ever found anything on page three that made a whit of difference.

DeDe appeared in fewer episodes than Larry.

Buying and selling stocks is not something the typical person should be doing. Yes, even if you’re smarter than the average person. Yes, even if you have “zero commission trades.” Whatever special insight you think you have has almost certainly been priced into the stock already, by people with much more accurate

More than two weeks later, bike is still in the shop. Sounds like an internal problem with the battery, which has now been shipped back to the manufacturer. This is a totally normal thing that happens with my non-e bike and my car all the time.

Why does the CB just stand there, instead of hitting him?

What we can learn is that the new con is “other than the land.” Cities give team owners more than enough land to build their stadium, plus fast track permitting on whatever commercial/housing development the owner wants to build there, and treat it as though the land is worth nothing. In many cases, the land was only

The Bruins “division champions” banners in the old Boston Garden used to be pretty embarrassing, mostly because there were so many of them, they represented so little, and they hung next to the Celtics’ “we have so many championship banners that we don’t even have room for all the retired numbers” banners. At the new

Good to know about The New Wheel, thanks. I’ll check them out.

Who do you think does a good job?

I bought from a local shop. It went out of business 6 months later. And yeah, I have a warranty on my electrical system. Turns out the warranty doesn’t magically make parts appear, or make it any easier to diagnose problems. I’m not complaining about the expense of the bike, I’m just saying it’s a headache.

Your biting wit has convinced me that I’m wrong. My bike isn’t out of commission right now, every bike mechanic who’s looked at it has easily figured out what’s wrong, and all the parts it needs are very standardized and in stock locally.

I’m talking about my experience owning a Douze electric cargo bike for the last year. Getting parts is a pain. Maybe I’m just disgruntled because the bike is in the shop this week.

I’m talking more about logistics. I feel like my ebike is some kind of crazy exotic car that needs a week of lead time to get parts.

A couple of months ago it was the hydraulic brakes (which involve an in-line pressure sensor that cuts the motor/activates the lights when the brakes are on), then last week the entire electrical system crapped out, and I’m not sure why.

Yeah, I’m in San Francisco, so it’s not overwhelmingly difficult to find a shop that services ebikes, but it’s still kind of a headache.
