If these universities are found to have broken the law, they could be hit with penalties as severe as having access to Pell grants and federal student loans cut.

They couldn’t give less of a fuck about the scandal. This is just a chance to possibly deny federal funds to several universities the administration doesn’t like.

I appreciate that the Parkland kids have started claiming their more recently-deceased classmates as “17+2,” which honors both the people who died on 2/14 as well as the people who held out for longer but ultimately succumbed to the damage done that day.
