Dark Souls still has the best no-chat communication I’ve ever seen. People manage to organize entire impromptu fighting arenas with 5-7 people, all through the use of gestures and shiny pebbles laid out on the ground.

I’ve aggro’d NPCs in Scholar and BB, so far none in this game though so that’s cool.

I did an entire combo on one NPC but luckily she didn’t go hostile. I would’ve bet money that she would turn on me.

If your looking to grind for Embers, those abyss demons IF you kill them after they transform are guaranteed to ember and occasionally a titanite shard

Did you happen to connect the game online? Because if you connect the game online the world tendency resets to the average of everyone else’s world tendency. It was one of the dumber things the game did, but probably what happened to you.

my advice to anybody jumping into the Souls series is to play with a guide. seriously it will make the games much more bearable.
