Somewhat unrelated: Do we have a name for that phenomenon where, when you’ve only seen one episode of a show while flipping channels, you somehow manage to catch that same episode two or three times?

Is there a reason it recommends to stir rather than shake? I typically shake when I can, as it almost always results in a colder and more cohesive cocktail. Does the cocktail get cloudy if the vermouth is shaken? 

This feels like a fruitier kind of drink, so I think without the orange bitters you’d just be getting some bite without any of the fruitiness. You can certainly try.
