You know, we're focusing too much on the fans at this point. Bill Cosby still has fans, but he doesn't have a career now. It's not because he doesn't have fans. It's because he's persona non grata in the industry. We need to start condemning anyone who works with him, and boycotting any venue that will have him.

That's very true about U Wear it Well and Sissy that Walk- it just seems to me that that's 3 out of 10 songs, so maybe it should always be the music video, but not necessarily the last lip sync. I've been listening to the "It's Not Right" remix basically on repeat since I watched the finale.

I think Trinity learned something from being with the other girls on the show. I don't think she would've done an act like that before she went on, and I think this was a great showcase of a new direction for her.

To be fair, I kind of think the similarity of her approach between the two songs might have to do with the fact that she did two Whitney Houston songs. I bet we would've gotten something a bit different if the last song had been a disco standard or something that came out last year.

But I will point out: Peppermint's glitter wasn't anything close to as good, because it didn't make a whole lot of sense in the song.

If we're being pedantic, dancing is not lip syncing. You can dance while lip syncing, and you can use props while lip syncing, etc. But technically, lip syncing is just the act of pretending to sing words that you are not actually singing. And a death drop while lip syncing is a stunt in that it won't help your lip

The right to compete in the finale, plus all those random giveaways that they got for winning challenges. What's the point of having a finale if all you have to do to know who wins is tally up the challenge wins?

Also, I'm pretty sure that just like in the regular season, lip sync tie goes to the queen who's shown more potential thus far. We all know that how Adore sent Trinity home in season 6.

I'm just going to throw this out there: Shea and Trinity were not robbed. What did they get for all that work during the season? The opportunity to compete for the crown in the finale. Why even bother to have a finale if the winner is determined by tallying up the points?

You know, I totally forgot that not only did season 1 have only 2 queens in the final lip sync, but so did seasons 2 and 3 until you brought it up. I totally remembered Bebe vs. Nina (because it was great and I wanted them both to win but there could be only one), but I had no recollection of Tyra vs. Raven or Raja

I think those are some chartreuse-colored glasses you're looking at Sasha through if you think that the theatrics were the only thing getting her through the lip sync. Even without stunts, I felt like she mopped the floor with Shea in So Emotional. Shea's lip syncing never gets up to her eyes, which is a problem if

It wasn't the number of great ones that was the problem- it was the number of utterly abysmal ones. Charlie, Valentina, and Nina vs. Shea, specifically.

Ha, I'll never be on board with Tyra winning season 2. She deserved her first win, but I thought Raven was robbed for her second and third wins. Her wedding dress and diva awards looks were just better, to my mind. I thought she was overrated the whole season because Ru identified with her more than she did with Raven

Thinking about your Alexis Mateo vs. Manila scenario again… I WISH we had seen that lip sync, with just them, in front of a live audience. The three way ones are never edited in a way that you can really tell what's happening, and even if Alexis had beaten Manila, I think it would've been worth it to see them fight it

I wonder about that too. I think it wasn't as much that she underestimated her competition as that she overestimated her own lip sync skills. She probably didn't realize that the way she lip syncs when she's in a bar isn't actually that impressive.

You know, I liked the split premiere in season 6! I'm not sure why they never did that again.

Okay, love that last line. I guess ultimately, I'd rather have a finale that actually means something than have the right girl win. The past finales, which were essentially just stalling until the end when Ru gives the winner the crown, were so lifeless compared to this one. I figure if the right girl doesn't win,

I guess the other thing I think is that it seems very likely to me that Ru would've stacked the songs to favor the queen she wanted to win. I'm not saying she definitely did that this time, but she totally only put Latrice in the bottom in Season 4 for the makeover challenge so she could do "Natural Woman". It

Oh, I absolutely agree that they should do more design challenges- you're right that either the work is there or it isn't, and I personally think we're a lot more likely to come out with something stunning in a design challenge than we will with some of the acting challenges. I just think that the first episode should

I have to say: Shea was really freaking lucky she wasn't lip syncing against a stronger lip syncer in the makeover episode, because if she'd gone against Trinity, Peppermint, Sasha, or even a Nina who hadn't given up already, she could easily have gone home that episode. Honestly, she totally lost me with that lip
